Fun Guide on Reflect Damage (Season 6 Update)CookieMon
What is Reflect Damage?
It is an Active or Passive Buff which returns a certain percentage of damage dealt to the attacker. Defense-type Heroes alone can have this buff and is applied to self only.
The Yellow number text shows the amount of damage reflected back to the Enemy Attacker.
The White Translucent Barrier is the visual effect of an 'Active' Reflect Damage buff.

What is the Advantage of Reflect Damage?
The Enemy Attacker, who inflicts damage on heroes with Reflect Damage Buff, will have their guardian stone (Defense-type) broken. This means;
i. If the Enemy Attacker has a Hidden Guardian Stone, your Defense-type hero will gain 1 Mana and a Turn-Reset.
ii. If the Enemy Attacker has a Visible Guardian Stone, your Defense-type hero will gain 1 Mana only.
Tactical Use of Reflect Damage
Reflect Damage is considered 'Attacking' which means it is best synergize with a 'Transfer Debuff' passive.
Transfer Debuff Passive (Prithiof alone has this)

Understanding the Wonderful Synergy of 'Reflect Damage Buff + Transfer Debuff Passive'
Damage received from Damage Over Time (DOT) debuffs (eg. Burn, Poison, Bleed) is considered attacking.
Having both the Reflect Damage Buff and Transfer Debuff Passive means;
When your Defense-type hero is ridden with a DOT debuff, it will RETURN the DOT debuff to the Enemy Inflictor on the next turn and subsequently breaks their guardian stone.
Burn: Breaks Attack-type or Defense-type or Chaos-type Guardian Stones (depending on the inflictor's type) Over Time (per turn) + Inflicts Damage
Poison: Breaks Chaos-type or Attack-type Guardian Stones (depending on the inflictor's type) Over Time (per turn) + Inflicts Damage
Bleed: Breaks Chaos-type or Defense-type Guardian Stones (depending on the inflictor's type) Over Time (per turn) + Inflicts Damage
The Formula is..
Reflect Damage Buff + Transfer Debuff Passive = Taste your Own or Friend's Medicine
(High Effect Hit is important, otherwise it may be Resisted).
Decrease Attack: A debuff which reduces your hero's Attack Stat.
Decrease Defense: A debuff which reduces your hero's Defense Stat.
Decrease Attack Speed: A debuff which reduces your hero's Attack Speed Stat.
Silence: Cannot use Active Skill.
Mana Bind: Cannot gain mana.
Stun: Cannot Attack, Counter or Double Team.
Provoke: Cannot use Active Skill; Can only basic attack the Provoker during own turn. Can still do Counter or Double Team.
Sleep: Cannot Attack, Counter or Double Team, but is removed upon receiving damage.
Nullify Buff: Cannot gain buffs.
Nullify Heal: Cannot gain heals.
Health Regen Reduction: Reduces amount of heal gain.
Modif1cation (a.k.a. Duck Debuff): It is like STUN but it also disables passive ability (Which means Transfer Debuff Passive is also disabled; Cannot transfer Duck debuff to the Enemy Inflictor or Attacker).
Maximizing the Utility of Transfer Debuff Passive
Ideally it is best equipped on Defense-type heroes with AOE Skill Damage. (Transfer Debuff to all Enemies upon AOE skill damage).
Example: Prithof's Active Skill 2 returns Enemy Bitru's 'Decrease Defense Debuff' to all her party. (No expiry. However, not as powerful as Bitru's and can be cleansed or resisted)
